At Symons Group, we are incredibly proud to acknowledge the dedication and community spirit of one of our very own VIP Transport Drivers, Des Friedrich. Des, in partnership with Rotary New Zealand, spent his weekend making a real difference in the lives of young people as part of the Rotary Youth Programme of Enrichment (RYPEN).
On behalf of Rotary, Des took the wheel to transport youth from the Taranaki and Manawatu regions to various training camps, where they participated in activities designed at developing young people’s potential through a mixture of lecture style sessions and adventure-based learning. RYPEN, a renowned programme aimed at empowering young people, benefits greatly from the involvement of dedicated individuals like Des. His commitment to helping youth grow and thrive reflects not only Rotary’s mission but also our own company values.
We were thrilled to support Des in this important work by providing the transport to ensure these inspiring young leaders had the opportunity to engage in such an impactful experience. Seeing Des contribute his time and effort to this cause reinforces our pride in having him on our team.
