Our Team

As founding owner and Board Chair, with a history of 30 years with Symons, Graham’s role is a strategic one within the company.

Dean has had over 28 years in Managing Directorships, General Manager and Group Operational roles enjoying experiencing leading teams of up to 500+ full time employees. During Dean’s career he has held several concurrent leadership and founding roles with the key theme being performance and people, building successful tools and delivering solid business results.

Heading up Transport Operations, and with more than 10 years on the Symons team, Murray is responsible for the smooth running of the Symons Transport fleet.

Anton is our Group Operations Manager and also leads the Symons warehousing team. Anton brings over 15 years’ experience in onshore/offshore energy work and logistical support in the oil and gas sector.

As Group Accountant, Tracey heads up the Finance team for all divisions.

Ivan joined us after 20+ years in the NZDF with a background in maintenance engineering, training and leadership. Initially brought on as our driver trainer, Ivan's keen focus on H&S now sees him working with the team to ensure everyone is safe, efficient and has minimal impact on our environment.

Jane has held a number of key roles within the Group and now works closely with the team to improve customer service performance and delivery. Also leading recruitment campaigns for seasonal work, Jane’s ultimate goal is to improve the performance of the company.

Donald is responsible for all casing, and services related to casing management and movements within Symons Warehousing.

After 24 years in the NZ Police, including nine years in road policing and 11 years in the CVIU & CVST, we are very happy to have Rob's experience and knowledge on board. Rob's remit: to recruit, and grow the All Blacks of the transport industry into our driver team.
