This past weekend, Symons Group was proud to lend a hand to the Taranaki Women’s Refuge by providing a truck and driver to help move items for their annual Pop-Up Shop fundraiser.
The Pop-Up Shop is one of the refuge’s key fundraising events, with all proceeds going directly towards supporting women and families in our community who are escaping violence and working to rebuild their lives.
Our driver, Mischelle, went above and beyond on the day — not only taking care of the transport but also jumping in wherever she was needed. As one organiser put it, “Mischelle got stuck in and was a huge help from start to finish, we couldn’t have done it without her.”
