The Role
As a Logistics Coordinator supporting our Bulk Liquid Transport team, you will be at the centre of a fast-moving operation. You will work closely with drivers, customers, and the wider operations team to keep bulk liquids moving safely and efficiently across the network.
When things are running smoothly, you will help keep them that way. When they are not, you will be the person finding the solution.

Truck Driver, Class 5 Bulk Tipper, Flat Deck (Hamilton, Waikato)

Based in Hamilton, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 5 Driver with flat deck and tipper truck and trailer experience. Working alongside our business partner GMS, this role involves linehaul runs between Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo and New Plymouth.

What does the job involve?
• Monday to Friday work, with occasional Saturdays
• Occasional overnight stays as required
• Operating 8×4 Scania’s with a variety of trailer units, including 5-axle ejecting, 5-axle tipping and quad semi- trailers

You will need to be confident working unsupervised, have strong communication skills to assist with weekly scheduling. This role also requires you to be tech-savvy, as we use electronic logbooks, EROAD systems, paperless job dispatching via tablets.

You must be capable of reversing and manoeuvring in tight or challenging sites. No jackknife tipping over drawbar required, trailers are disconnected when unloading truck due to the nature of material transported and high cube capacity designed units.

Applicants with flat deck experience will be given preference.

Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Class 5 Driver Flat Deck Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and capable Class 5 Flat Deck Driver/Operator to join our team based in Bell Block. This is a full-time, permanent position, working with a modern fleet and a supportive, professional team.

You will be responsible for transporting general freight with a strong focus on flat deck operations. This role requires a high level of competency, precision, and professionalism, particularly in load restraint, manoeuvring, and site access.

• Operating Class 5 vehicles across flat deck movements
• Safely and efficiently restraining loads to a high standard, ensuring full compliance at all times
• Confidently reversing and manoeuvring in tight or restricted spaces, including customer sites
• Prioritising safety and compliance at all times while completing load plans.
• Maintain a clean and well-presented fleet of vehicles, daily inspection of vehicles and reporting of any defects or damage
• Drive in an exemplary manner, following NZTA rules and regulations
• Liaise with all customers, members of the public and work colleagues politely and professionally at all times
• Comply with health and safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace
• Have good time management skills and be able to follow instructions/directions well
• Confidence in using technology, including tablets.
• Be a well-presented team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 2+ years’ Class 5 driving experience, with proven flat deck expertise
• Strong, hands-on experience with load restraint and transport compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to reverse and manoeuvre confidently in tight or challenging environments
• A proficient, reliable, and safety-focused approach to all tasks
• Over-dimensional load experience (advantageous)
